Project: To the TOP – Exchange of good Practices

During the project, 72 young talented students in Europe will test their competences in five training camps where there will be a three days Skills competition simulation. These project weeks are the key for the training and give the students a chance to test how it feels to work with strict limits, with a time pressure and under constant evaluation. The students will not only be the competitors but are also asked to work as judges for one another with a similar criteria as in the skills competitions. Students will have a chance to reflect the methods used in the tasks not only technically but also from cultural view point.

Project: EXPECTExchanges of Practices in Education for Climate Targets

Objectives: The transition to more sustainable energy sources, the circular economy and digitalisation will affect the labour market and thus vocational training. The project examines the current state of VET in the seven partner countries, the experiences of stakeholders, their progress towards climate goals, the role of VET in this process, and the strategies and tools used in each country. The project will also lay the foundations for a later and more comprehensive follow-up project.

Project: SOCS, Surveyor’s Opportunities for Collaborative Surveying

Surveyors’ Opportunities for Collaborative Surveying (acronym SOCS) is a strategic partnership initiative focused on strengthening and sharing of key competencies in surveying and enhancing internationalisation of the sector. The project is based on idea of students’ collaborative learning in transnational groups prior to and during four workshop weeks, each focusing on chosen surveying theme reflecting working life processes. Themes cover gathering data (for example by drones) and processing the data with different software, such as 3D modelling. 

Workshop weeks are a mixture of different learning methods, small transnational group work, discussions, comparisons, building up summaries and presentations, active hands-on surveying work and company visits. Furthermore, work safety issues are included in each workshop according to theme of the week. Participating students will build up a five-language surveying glossary in English, Finnish, German, Italian and Norwegian of the key concepts. In all, during the process, 60 surveying students will have possibility to participate in workshops.

The main objective is to develop an easy to use toolbox BUILD@HOME that enables teachers and students to create or follow education that closely matches the curriculum and learning objectives, learning needs, talents and core qualities of the student. All this in the context of the required international competences and Agenda 2030. The toolbox is designed for every type of education and for every type of student.

The aim of this project is to develop new innovative business ideas with service design by blending business ideas from five countries. In addition to blending business ideas from different countries and fields, the project focuses on future
skills in sustainable development and circular economy as central themes. The project also benchmark and develop new methodology and pedagogical tools for entrepreneurship education.
